Covid-19 claims one more life

Of the 63 new cases, 33 were men and 30 were women

ISLAMABAD:

The number of new novel coronavirus (Covid-19) cases continue to rise in Islamabad after another 63 cases were confirmed on Sunday, while at least one patient succumbed to the pandemic virus.

A report from the Islamabad District Health Office showed that of the 63 new cases, 33 were men and 30 were women.

The latest cases push the federal capital’s tally of confirmed cases to 16,776. Of these, some 16,040 patients have made a full recovery from the virus so far, while some 183 infected patients have died.

The report from the DHO office further added that so far, there are some 490 active cases of Covid-19 in the city, either receiving isolating at home or receiving treatment at the designated hospitals in the federal capital.
