Man shot dead for not cleaning sewage

Suspect repeatedly asked victim to clean sewage causing pollution

A young man was shot over a dispute regarding stagnant dirty water outside his house. Another man was also injured in the firing.

Police registered a case and started searching for the accused.

Government Quarter Technical High School People's Colony Resident and an employee in a workshop named Irshad Ahmed was residing in the government Quarter No 2 and his neighbour Fayyaz Ahmed, a driver in a technical school, lived in the Quarter No 4.

The filthy water from the sewage of Fayyaz 's quarters was often found on the street.

Naveed Irshad, the 25-year-old son of Irshad Ahmed, repeatedly asked Fayyaz to clean the sewerage as they were facing problems because of it.

On this resentment, Fayyaz along with his son-in-law Osama got into an argument with Naveed and his brother Farid and opened fire at Naveed.

Reportedly, the bullet hit Naveed's chest and mouth. As a result, he was severely injured. Naveed succumbed to his injuries while being shifted to the hospital.
