Popular actor Mahira Khan recently took her followers on a trip down the memory lane while penning a heartfelt note for and about her most iconic character, Khirad.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, the Raees star shared snippets from her life changing serial, Humsafar, and coupled the post with a heartfelt caption to mark the nine years of the show.
"What is there left to say that hasn’t already been said?" asked Khan. "Maybe that’s the thing about Humsafar - there is always more to say," she responded, reinstating her emotional attachment to the show and her character.
"Khirad is by far my most special character. She loved fiercely, she gave whole heartedly and when it came to her self respect -she held it closest to her heart. What a woman🌹," added the Superstar actor.
"But like I always say.. Humsafar is beyond all of us who made it. It’s all of yours. This safar, this journey is nothing without all of you.. who have kept the magic alive for 9 years. Always grateful.. always yours, I love love love you all," she concluded, signing off as Khirad.
Sharing the most titular moments from the show, Khan ensured everyone remembered why and how she became one of the most renowned faces of the industry.
And to this day, despite the criticism her facial expressions, or the lack thereoff, receive - no one can deny the intensity of her delivery that takes centre stage as she speaks and often leaves viewers baffled.
