New avenues: Deal signed to boost e-commerce

Ministry of Commerce provides platform to create linkages between the public and private sector

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed Thursday between Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA)and Chainstore Association of Pakistan (CAP) witnessed by the third National E-Commerce Council (NeCC).

The collaboration aims to help retail businesses to explore indigenously developed technologies for their retail and e-commerce operations.

Pakistan has a lot of potential in e-commerce and through NeCC, the Ministry of Commerce has provided a platform to create linkages between the public and private sector to work together for resolving different issues and ensuring the development of e-commerce sector in Pakistan.
