Some unidentified suspects killed two persons including the employee of a local factory by strangling them with a rope, police said on Tuesday.
Police said unidentified suspects entered the house of 50-year-old Rana Muzammil Hussain, a resident of Gulistan Colony, Block Sargodha Road, tied his wife in the kitchen, strangled him to death and fled. Meanwhile, the body of 29-year-old Tassaduq Hussain, who was returning from a job in a local factory in the suburban village, was found in Allah Dutta's Murabba No 54 and Keela No 5.
Hussain was strangled to death by unidentified suspects.
Police handed over the body of the deceased to the heirs after postmortem and registered a case against the unidentified accused on the statement of his grandfather Aslam.

On August 8, six people were killed in separate incidents in different parts of the city during 24 hours.
During the lockdown that has now been relaxed in the province, at least 42 people were murdered and 85 injured in attacks in Faisalabad.
Between March 23 and May 12, incidents of domestic disputes and violence have witnessed a surge. As many as 82 cases of attempted murder were reported during the 53-day period, in which 85 people were injured, including 30 women and seven children, as per statistics obtained by The Express Tribune.
