A couple was stabbed and injured for marrying against the will of the minor girl’s family in Sherpao Basti, Bahadurabad, on Sunday. The injured were identified as 17-year-old Javeria and 20-year-old Jamal Hussain. They were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for treatment. Ferozabad SHO Aurangzeb Khattak said that Javeria and Hussain had married against the will of her family. Javeria’s uncle, along with four accomplices, attacked the couple, but people gathered after hearing their screams and the attackers fled.
