Three die of Covid-19

LAHORE:

Covid-19 has claimed three more lives in the province as the number of coronavirus cases reached 98,041 after the registration of 95 new cases during the past 24 hours. According to the spokesperson for the Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department (P&SHD) on Thursday, 2,223 deaths have been recorded in Punjab up to the present. The P&SHD spokesperson confirmed that 29 new cases of coronavirus were reported in Lahore during the last 24 hours. The department confirmed that it has conducted as many as 1,103,618 coronavirus tests so far and 94,721 virus inflicted individuals have recovered. The Punjab health department has urged the people to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and cover their faces with masks for protection against the contagion.
