SWABI:

The Swabi Women University on Tuesday conducted a training workshop for its faculty on online teaching methodology.

Swabi Women University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Shahana Urooj Kazmi said that online learning is the future of academia. She added that no institution can sustain its academic ranking without developing expertise in the online learning mechanism. The novel coronavirus (Covid-19), she said, enabled them to develop online learning and teaching mechanisms.

“There is a dire need for organising training sessions for faculty and students for online teaching and learning. The Swabi Women University has developed its own mechanism for online learning and now they are opening their campus for both on-campus and online classes,” Dr Kazmi added.
