A man and his two sons were arrested for allegedly assaulting a teenaged girl in North Nazimabad on Tuesday night. The girl, aged 18 years, was reportedly on her way to home when some men accosted her near her residence and assaulted her, trying to take her to the rooftop of a residential building. Later, her family staged a protest outside the Nazimabad police station, claiming that the police were informed of the incident on Madadgar-15 helpline and while a police party quickly reached the spot, they let the attackers flee. According to North Nazimabad SHO Rashid, the girl had sustained scratches on her face and neck. A case was later registered against Nazeer Khan and his sons Hammad and Fawad, and they were arrested. According to the police, further action against the suspects will be taken in light of the medical examination report.
