Adopting technology for better service to the people, the Rawalpindi police have launched its mobile application ‘Citizen Connect’. The citizens can now report their complaints through the smartphone application while the Emergency 15 button in it will send coordinates or the live location of the user to the police within seconds. A police officer told The Express Tribune that Citizen Connect can be used by the people to register complaints about any kind of crime. Rawalpindi locals have been advised to download the application to avail services on their fingertips. To register, the officer said users can enter their names and CNIC numbers.
