Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Enforcement Directorate staff have launched an operation for the restoration parks in the LDA Avenue-I Housing scheme. According to an LDA spokesperson, the authority demolished encroachment, cattle yards and other illegal structures in the parks located in B and M blocks of the scheme. An operation against encroachments in C block of the scheme was also carried out. Meanwhile, the LDA Town Planning Wing Zone-I staff sealed 28 buildings in Gulshan-e-Ravi scheme. According to an LDA spokesperson, the authority conducted the operation against the defaulters of commercialisation fee. Earlier, notices had been issued to the defaulters and the operation was carried out against them after passage of the payment deadline.
