Two offices on the 14th floor of a high-rise building at Sharae Faisal caught fire on Monday. Arriving at the scene, police and rescue teams evacuated all offices in the building, while fire-fighting teams, with two fire tenders and a snorkel, doused the blaze in a short while. According to fire station officer Nisar Khalid, one chamber in each of the two offices had caught fire and the computers, furniture, documents and other goods were burned to ashes. However, he added, no casualties were reported. The extent of the losses and the cause of the fire could not immediately be ascertained.
