PM Imran top-ranked for working hard to overcome effects of Covid-19 on nation

UK-based newspaper cites the premier's Ehsaas Emergency Cash Programme to overcome effects of the virus

Pakistan’s efforts against the novel cronavirus received praise worldwide, including from the UN General Assembly President Volkan Bozkir.

Recently, a UK-based newspaper, the Asian World News, top-ranked Prime Minister Imran among leaders who worked hard to overcome the effects of Covid-19 on their citizens.

“The former Pakistani cricketer turned politician to now the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan has made a mark on the youth of the country. He recently launched a relief fund — the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Programme — for those who were made jobless due to the current pandemic,” the paper said.

Alexandria has been a very strong voice for the minorities and disadvantaged.

Jagmeet has been pushing for more transparency on the governmental financial support that is given to workers to make sure it is going to directly to them, the publication said.

Fawzia Zainal, elected first woman speaker of Bahrain

Fawzia Zainal is the first woman to lead Bahrain’s government, elected as speaker of the Council of Representatives. She, along with other legislators, presented a proposal concerned with education during this pandemic.

"The bill is aimed at controlling the quality of remote education, meeting academic and technical requirements as well as guaranteeing students’ rights and providing the necessary infrastructures for distance learning."
