Hazara polio drive to focus on UCs
The Hazara division Commissioner Riaz Khan Mahsood has directed the district administrations and health officials to expedite efforts for resuming polio eradication drives in the division which had been suspended due to the spread of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
He said this while addressing a meeting of the Divisional Polio Eradication Committee on Tuesday. He assured that support and facilities will be provided to the health and other staff deputed for the polio campaign.
Regional Police Officer (RPO) Qazi Jamilur Rahman said that police personnel will be deployed for security of mobile polio teams in the anti-polio drive schedule on September 21 in Hazara division.
