Pishin reports another polio case

QUETTA:

Another case of polio has surfaced in Balochistan as numbers continue to grow due to suspension of the polio campaign amid the novel coronavirus.

A 15-month-old child was diagnosed with the virus in Pishin district.

According to health department officials, samples of the child were collected last month. The polio campaign in Balochistan was suspended for five months due to which there has been a sudden increase in polio cases.
