PESHAWAR:

To facilitate stakeholders in the tourism industry of the province, the provincial government on Tuesday set up one-window service points.

This was disclosed by the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Tourism Department Secretary Abid Majeed on Tuesday as he addressed the concluding session of special training on implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety measures against the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) in tourism-related businesses across the province.

The Directorate of Tourist Services (DTS) – a wing of the K-P Tourism Department and the World Bank-funded K-P Integrated Tourism (KITE) project - had jointly arranged the training. Besides other walks of life, the pandemic had badly affected the tourism industry in the province, Majeed said.
