The police handed over the body to the family after the completion of medico-legal formalities

KARACHI:

Two men were killed in separate road accidents in the city on Sunday. A motorcyclist was killed when a dumper truck ran over him near Ahsanabad in Gulshan-e-Maymar. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities, where the deceased was identified as Haider Ali, 32. The truck driver fled from the spot after the incident, while the police impounded the truck. Meanwhile, a pedestrian was injured after being hit by a speeding car near Karachi Port Trust. The injured man, identified as Gohar Ali, 55, succumbed to his wounds while being shifted to Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital. The police handed over the body to the family after the completion of medico-legal formalities.
