KARACHI:

Pakistani 7-year-old Fatima Naseem made everyone proud by registering a Guinness World Record for ‘most full contact elbow strikes in one minute using alternate elbows’.

Fatima snatched the record from Indian Shurti S as the latter earlier registered the record with 211 elbow strikes.

However, Fatima was not in the mood to just break the record, she actually pushed the bar higher with 31 extra strikes.

The talent of breaking record and practicing martial arts is in Fatima’s blood as she is the daughter of Muhammad Rashid, who has 60 world records to his name, most for Pakistan by any athlete.

Fatima has now set a goal for herself of winning an international gold for Pakistan to raise the flag of the country higher.
It is worth mentioning here that this is the 75th world record that been registered under the banner of Pakistan Academy of Martial Arts.
