Last month, the British hitmaker, Ed Sheeran announced that him and his wife Cherry Seaborn, as the two get ready for the arrival of their first child.
The Perfect crooner has now announced the birth of their baby in a heartfelt Insta post. Sharing a picture of socks, Sheeran shared, "Ello! A quick message from me as I have some personal news that I wanted to share with you."
He went on to add, "Last week, with the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter - Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran."
The singer added, "We are completely in love with her. Both mum and baby are doing amazing and we are on cloud nine over here. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Lots of love and I’ll see you when it’s time to come back, Ed"
The good news comes almost a year after Sheeran’s shocking announcement that he would be taking an “extended break” from song-writing and singing and instead, focusing on his personal life.
Sheeran and Seaborn have now been together for five years. However, the superstar only confirmed last summer that the two had tied the knot in January 2019.
