Fire doused at Lyari godowns

A fire erupted at four godowns near Cheel Chowk in Lyari on Monday. According to fire department officials, six fire tenders reached the spot after being informed about the blaze and brought it under control. They further stated that the fire had broken out at one of the godowns and then engulfed three others, reducing the goods in all four to ashes. However, no loss of life was reported in the blaze. While the process of cooling was underway, the cause behind the fire could not immediately be ascertained.
