Covid-19 claims 11 more lives

Sindh's total virus tally at 128,676

KARACHI:

At least 11 more people died of coronavirus overnight in the province, stated Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Tuesday.

Moreover, of the 8,214 people tested for the virus on the day, 220 turned out to be positive, taking Sindh's total virus tally to 128,676.

Currently, the CM added, there were 3,831 active Covid-19 patients, of whom 3,525 were in home isolation, 211 were being treated in hospitals and six were quarantined at isolation centres.

Furthermore, the condition of 211 patients was stated to be critical and 32 of them were on ventilators.

On the other hand, 280 more people recovered from the contagious disease overnight, taking the total number of recovered patients to 122,464 in Sindh.
