ISLAMABAD:

With the novel coronavirus disrupting the entire world, the Chinese culture centre decided to shift its activities online instead of stopping them completely.

With 2020 marking 60 years of diplomatic ties between Pakistan and China, a host of activities had been planned for the year, including cultural performances, exhibitions, lectures, screenings and other activities such as teaching and training, dialogues, and information services. The events were not only meant to signify the close ties enjoyed by the two neighbouring countries but also offers a window for Pakistani people to Chinese culture and a platform for deepening China-Pakistan cultural cooperation.

In the wake of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, the cultural centre in Pakistan organised more than 30 online cultural activities including photographic exhibitions, documentaries and celebrations on its official Facebook page.
