Three suspects repeatedly raped a minor girl in Landhi

Doctors say 13-year-old child is pregnant

KARACHI:

The police claimed on Monday to have arrested three suspects for raping a minor girl repeatedly in Landhi.

According to police, a man had approached the police and informed them that his 13-year-old daughter used to go to the residence of one of the suspects, Hammad Baig, to get tuition from his sister. The complainant further told the police that a few days ago, she complained of stomach pain and when he took her to a hospital, doctors informed them she was pregnant after a complete medical examination.

The victim’s father claimed that Hammad, his brother Ismail and his cousin Waqas, had repeatedly raped the child for over five months. Following the complaint, the police registered an FIR against the suspects and arrested them, while further investigation was underway.
