Investigation launched against those involved in corruption

KARACHI:

An Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) team raided the office of the Karachi Development Authority’s Lines Area Redevelopment Project director on Monday, following complaints about the illegal transfers of plots and preparation of fake documents at the office.

According to an ACE spokesperson, the team confiscated the relevant records during the raid. Sources further revealed that investigations had been launched against those involved in the corruption.

Meanwhile, Sindh Industries and Anti-Corruption Minister Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said in a statement that corruption needed to be discouraged at every level and it was time for people to unite to make Sindh corruption-free.
