At least two people lost their lives and two others, including a minor girl, were injured in separate road accidents in the federal capital on Sunday.
Javed Iqbal told the Khanna Police that his brother Shahid Anjum, a Capital Development Authority (CDA) employee, was fixing street lights when he was crushed by an unidentified car.
Aabpara police learnt through a report filed by Iftikhar Ahmed that his six-year-old granddaughter was crossing the road in Sector G-7/4 when she was run over by a car. The minor sustained injuries in the accident. Police have noted the registration number of the related car and launched a search. Further, two speeding motorbike riders met with an accident, killing one and injuring the other.
