Police increase patrolling in Muharram

LAHORE:

The deputy inspector general of police (operations wing) Lahore has directed Dolphin Squad and Police Response Unit (PRU) teams to increase patrolling around Imambargahs and routes of mourning processions during Muharram. All the police formations should follow the comprehensive security plan already devised in this regard to ensure the safety of the participants of the religious events of Muharram, the official said.
