Sindh sees a single death due to coronavirus

274 new cases recorded

KARACHI:

A single death was reported in the province as a result of Covid-19 on Saturday, taking Sindh's death toll to 2,358.

In a statement, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah shared that 274 fresh coronavirus cases were reported in Sindh overnight, taking the total tally to 127,965, while 9,311 people were screened for the virus on the day.

Shah added that 121,144 people had recovered from the virus so far, including 268 patients who recovered overnight.

However, the chief minister stated that 4,463 people were currently infected by the virus, of whom 4,142 were in home isolation, 314 were being treated at different hospitals and seven were quarantined at isolation centres.
