New Thai Pm: Gilani felicitates Yingluck Shinawatra
He conveyed the best wishes of the people of Pakistan for the continued progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Thailand under her leadership, according to a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday. Gilani said that her success had a special resonance with the people of Pakistan where Benazir Bhutto had made history as the first woman prime minister, not only of Pakistan, but of the entire Muslim world. Pakistan and Thailand share deep-rooted historical and cultural bonds and have always enjoyed cordial and cooperative relations.
