Two bodies found in city

Police await autopsy reports

KARACHI:

The body of a man was found in an apartment in Gulistan-e-Johar on Thursday.

According to police, the deceased, identified as Siraj, was around 30 years old and used to live alone in the apartment. They added that the body bore neither bullet wounds nor torture marks. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. The police are awaiting autopsy report to determine the cause of the death.

Separately, the body of an unidentified man, estimated to be in his 30s, was found lying on the Liaquatabad flyover, between Karimabad and Azizabad. The body bore no injuries and the police have sent samples to a laboratory for chemical examination as part of the post-mortem. They are awaiting autopsy report to ascertain the cause of the death and proceed with the investigation. The body has been shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
