One of Turkey’s leading actors Engin Altan Duzyatan on Tuesday met three terminally ill Pakistani children via a video link during an event in Karachi.
The actor is best known for his role as Ertugrul in the popular Turkish series Diriliş: Ertuğrul. The event was arranged by Make-A-Wish Foundation and hosted by actor Ayesha Omar, who also uploaded the entire video of the happenings on her Instagram.
It was also attended by the Turkish Consul General Tolga Ucak and prominent figures from Pakistan’s entertainment industry including Humayun Saeed, Nadeem Baig and Zeba Bakhtiar.
During the session, Duzyatan had a chat with the terminally ill children who wished to meet the Turkish star because of which the event took place to begin with. Then he had a brief exchange with Saeed who revealed that he had watched all the episodes of Diriliş: Ertuğrul primarily because of his acting.
Saeed said, “I watched all episodes (400 to 500) of Dirilis: Ertugrul and the main reason was your acting.” The Pakistani star further added, “The way you performed your character, the way you fight and all your action sequences were very good. I watched all the episodes just because of you.”
The Jawani Phir Nahi Ani actor further expressed hope to meet Duzyatan on his upcoming trip to Turkey.
Duzyatan, on the other hand, thanked Saeed for his love and concluded saying, “I am very happy for this love from Pakistan.”
