Tortured body found dumped

RAWALPINDI:

Police have found a body dumped in the Dhoke Mustaqeem area by unidentified killers.

The deceased has been identified as Hassan Khan who was a rickshaw driver. The victim was apparently brutally tortured to death, said policemen who saw the body that bore multiple marks of injuries. The remains were shifted to District Headquarter Hospital (DHQ) for post-mortem.

Police have registered a case against unidentified people on the complaint of the brother of the deceased and started an investigation.

Potohar SP Syed Ali told the media that police had found a dead body with multiple injuries. He said forensic experts have visited crime scene, collected shreds of evidence and begun investigation. He said killers would be arrested soon.
