RAWALPINDI:

Five years after the Ashura bomb blast claimed the lives of 11 people, the probe into the attack has stalled.

An explosion in the Ashura procession took place on November 13, 2015, killing 11 and injuring 21 others. A judicial inquiry was ordered into the incident. The Rawalpindi bench of the Lahore High Court (LHC) listened to testimony from 100 witnesses.

The case has been pending before an anti-terrorism court for the past five years while all the suspects in the case have managed to obtain bail while at least two have been acquitted.
