The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) in Islamabad has sent flowers to those artists who were honoured with national awards announced on Independence Day.
In an accompanying message, Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) Director-General Dr Fouzia Saeed congratulated all the recipients of civil awards and paid rich tribute to them for their services and contributions.
She stated that these artists were the true ambassadors of Pakistan.
Artists are the ones who present the true image of society and earn a good name for their country, Dr Saeed said, adding that they play a very positive role in elevating and improving the mental approach of the people towards life by inspiring them through their art.
