Sindh reports 318 fresh Covid-19 cases
Coronavirus claims five more lives in the province
Sindh reported 318 fresh coronavirus cases On Tuesday, taking the total number of infected people to 126,743, in the province, said Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on the day.
He further said that five more people had died due to the contagious disease in the province, raising the death toll to 2,336.
According to the CM, 4,166 Covid-19 patients are currently under treatment in Sindh, among whom 3,782 are in home isolation, 378 are being treated at different hospitals and six are quarantined in isolation centres.
Moreover, of all the active cases, the condition of 238 people is said to be critical and 36 are on ventilators, the CM said.
According to the CM, out of 318 new cases, 133 belong to Karachi, 20 to Sanghar, 14 to Mirpurkhas, 13 to Shikarpur, nine to Tando Allahyar, eight apiece to Dadu and Shaheed Benazirabad, seven apiece to Sukkur, Khairpur and Matiari, five to Qambar-Shahdadkot, four apiece to Larkana and Tando Mohammad Khan, three apiece to Umerkot and Badin, and two each to Hyderabad, Jamshoro and Naushehroferoze.
