Police claimed on Sunday to have arrested an important member of the “White Coralla” gang, involved in over 40 robberies, and confiscated weapons from his possession. South District SSP Bashir Brohi said the arrested person, identified as Umair Malik, was apprehended was apprehended in Clifton, with the help of CCTV footage. He said that Malik and other members of his gang had been carrying out robberies in a white Corolla in the jurisdictions of at least 10 police stations, including Clifton, Defence Housing Authority, Darakhshan, Tariq Road and Boat Basin Police Stations, among others. Police are carrying out more raids to arrest other members of the White Corolla gang.
