NICVD sets up new building in Hyd

The National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) carried out the soft opening of its new building at Qasimabad, Hyderabad, on Friday in order to provide cardiology services to Sindh’s people for free. The soft opening of NICVD Hyderabad’s new building was done by hospital executive director Prof Nadeem Qamar, while it will be formally inaugurated by the Pakistan Peoples Party chairperson later. According to an NICVD statement, the institution would provide round-the-clock emergency services, angioplasty, angiography, echocardiography, adult and paediatric cardiology, electrophysiology and consulting clinics, while cardiac surgery facilities would be made available soon.
