Niazi brothers perform folk national songs

ISLAMABAD:

Popular folk singing duo Javed Naizi and Babar Naizi performed in a musical show arranged by the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA).

The performance was part of a series of programmes the PNCA has launched as part of a series of programmes to celebrate Independence Day. The show was broadcast on social media due to the novel coronavirus (Covid- 19) pandemic.

PNCA’s ‘Eid ke Mehman’ series concludes

The Niazi brothers sang national songs such as “Watan Ki Mitti Gawah Rehna”, “Sadaay Des Di Shan Vakri Ha” and “Shamaa Pey Gaiyan” and their popular track, “Tut Gai Trakh Kar Ky”. They also presented poetry and Kafi pf Baba Bullay Shah.

PNCA Director General Dr Fouzia Saeed stated that Independence Day should be celebrated with a commitment to work for the promotion of peace, fraternity and brotherhood.
