The provincial government has imposed a ban on new recruitments at the University of Haripur after irregularities emerged in past hirings in the educational institution.
A notification issued by the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Higher Education Department said that they had received complaints about recruitments in the varsity. At this, it had first halted the recruitment process and barred additional hirings.
Moreover, K-P Governor Shah Farman has set up a probe committee and inspection team will investigate the allegations against the varsity's vice-chancellor and registrar.
