14 Covid-19 deaths reported in Sindh

Sindh saw as few as 357 fresh coronavirus cases overnight, shared provincial chief minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Wednesday, adding that this took the tally of infected people to 122,373.

Moreover, he apprised that 14 more patients had succumbed to the virus overnight, pushing Sindh’s death toll to 2,245.

According to the CM, 6,132 patients were currently under treatment, of whom 5,696 were in home isolation, 427 were being treated at different hospitals, while nine were quarantined at isolation centres. He added that the condition of 274 patients was said to be critical and 44 of them had been shifted to ventilators. On the other hand, Shah stated, 728 more patients had recovered from the virus, taking the total number of recoveries in the province to 113,996.
