Police foil kidnapping attempt

Gang of Lado Teghani was trying to kidnap a resident of Sukkur

The Kashmore-Kandhkot Police claimed to have prevented a veterinary doctor from getting kidnapped in the katcha area of Garhi Tegho. Kashmore-Kandhkot SSP Syed Asad Raza said that a gang of Lado Teghani was trying to kidnap Dr Zulfiqar, a resident of Sukkur.

However, the police managed to arrest the kidnappers, identified as Nawab, Zaman and Mir Ahmed, who were absconders and already had head money of Rs400,000 each. Moreover, suspects identified as Ghulam Shabbir, Javed and others were also arrested during the operation.
