Private schools adamant to reopen on August 15

Will reopen institutes at all cost

ISLAMABAD:

A key body representing private schools on Tuesday reiterated that they will reopen their institutions from August 15 at all costs.

Briefing the media on Tuesday, All Pakistan Private Schools and Colleges Association (APPSCA) Chief Malik Abrar Hussain said that in an emergency meeting of the association, it had been decided to reopen all private schools of the country.

Hussain said that due to the poor strategy of the government, as many as 25,000 private educational institutions across the country have been closed for months while over 0.3 million people linked to the sector have lost their jobs.
