Schools likely to reopen under new SOPs

The provincial education ministry has sent to the Punjab government a draft for the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for reopening public and private educational institutions in the province, it has been learnt.
Under the devised SOPs, schools will only run from 7am to 11am. Moreover, schools will be barred from holding morning assemblies to avoid congregation of students.
Moreover, students will not be allowed to go to the playgrounds during recess.
All staff and classrooms will be disinfected every day before classes commence. Facemasks will be mandatory.
