Faded silver screen stars remembered

Dr Saeed explains the purpose of the programme was to see what the offspring of past actors

ISLAMABAD:

With social distancing and the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) preventing physical gatherings, a series of online programmes were held on Eidul Azha to remember past actors and to see what their children are doing.

The programmes had been organised by the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) and were hosted by the council's Director-General Dr Fauzia Saeed.

On Eid day, Rabia Hassan, the daughter of the late actor Rani, was invited.

Dr Saeed explained that the purpose of the programme was to see what the offspring of past actors were doing.
