47 shops sealed amid lockdown

FAISALABAD:

As many as 47 shops and two plazas were sealed by Assistant Commissioner (AC) Jaranwala Zainul Abideen and 16 people were arrested on the charge of violation of lockdown. A spokesman for local administration said on Thursday that the AC Jaranwala conducted surprise checking for implementation of lockdown in his jurisdiction and found 47 shops and two plazas open despite the restrictions imposed to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Therefore, the AC sealed the shops and plazas and arrested the accused.
