Athletics: Powell injury clouds London meet

LONDON: Asafa Powell, the fastest man in the world this year, withdrew from the London Diamond League meeting hours before he was due to run in the 100 metres at Crystal Palace. The Jamaican said he could not afford the risk before the World Championships later this month.
