Bats attack Tharparkar

Veterinarians cautioned that the bats could harbour diseases such as rabies, congovirus and coronavirus

After swarms of locusts, different areas of the Tharparkar district have been invaded by flocks of bats. The flying mammal, with wings spanning four feet, bats, have attacked various parts of Chhachro taluka, creating fear and panic among the residents. Meanwhile, veterinarians cautioned that the bats could harbour diseases such as rabies, congovirus and coronavirus, demanding that the government take necessary measures to eliminate the threat.
