ATTOCK:

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam on Tuesday inaugurated a water filtration plant in the Jasian village and F-Block in Attock.

The plant, Amin said, will be among 45 such plants to be installed across the district for Rs60 million to provide clean drinking water to residents of Attock, Hazro and Hasanabdal.

Aslam hoped that the plants will help control the spread of water-borne diseases.

He further said that a Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme has been inaugurated in Hazro which will provide hundreds of low-income people the opportunity to own a house.
