Pindi police get revamped mess hall

It includes an auditorium equipped with latest gadgets and comfortable seating, gymnasium

RAWALPINDI:

A freshly renovated auditorium, library, gymnasium and mess hall for police officers in the garrison city was opened in the Police Lines on Friday. Regional Police Officer Sohail Tajik inaugurated the revamped facility. It includes a modern mess hall, an auditorium equipped with latest gadgets and comfortable seating, gymnasium with latest workout facilities, library hall and cafeteria. The mess hall has been accredited to martyred Constable Altaf Hussain (Tamgha-e-Shujaat), the auditorium was accredited to martyred SI Irshad Hussain for his bravery during an encounter with terrorists. CPO Ahsan Younas said that the building had been built by Moravet Ali Shah, the first CPO of Rawalpindi.
