An inquiry committee was constituted on Friday to probe the incident of a woman misbehaving with a police official at the entrance of the Zaman Town police station on Thursday night. A video of the incident went viral on social media, showing the woman arriving at the police station and repeatedly honking at the policeman deployed at the entrance, directing him to open the gate. When the policeman did not do so, she got out of the car and slapped and cursed the official, showing him a piece of paper and claiming she was there to file a complaint about her mobile phone being stolen. The committee has been formed on the directive of the Korangi SSP and is led by the Landhi SP, who is to submit a report on the matter within three days.
