Covid-19 claims five move lives

At least 68,439 confirmed cases recovered all together in the province

LAHORE:

Covid-19 pandemic claimed five more lives in the province, while the number of coronavirus cases in the province exceeded 91,420 after registration of more than 290 new cases on Friday. According to the spokesperson of Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department, total number of deaths exceeded 2,100 in the province. As many as 100 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Lahore, six in Sheikhupura, 12 in Rawalpindi, 16 in Jhelum, 17 in Gujranwala, seven in Sialkot, two in Narowal, 31 in Gujrat, six in Mandi Bahauddin, 15 in Multan, one in Khanewal, 15 in Faisalabad, one in Chiniot, one in Jhang and 10 in Toba Tek Singh. Moreover, 12 virus cases were reported in Rahim Yar Khan, five in Sargodha, 13 in Dera Ghazi Khan, five in Sahiwal and one new case of Covid-19 was reported in Okara district during the last 24 hours. The health department conducted more than 678,010 tests for Covid-19 so far, while at least 68,439 confirmed cases recovered all together in the province.
